It's awesome how aerial shots like these almost make the towers look invisible. When the whole complex is complete, it should be one of the seven wonders of the world.

that bottom pic is kind of unique. we dont see many with One57 and 1WTC in the picture together

sorry if that question may have been asked 1000 times, but i still don't understand why it has been decided that the antenna would no more be covered with white texture, and wouild only be an iron mast...

Is it for financial reasons ? If it is the case, then it's shameful that the prestige of the most emblematic skyscraper of New york is reduced just for a fistful of dollars...

The randome enclosure has been removed , so now it's just an antenna.
The randome encloused the antenna, making it a spire.

Financial reasons. Durst didn't want to risk maintaining the radome so now the top of this tower will a testament to why big corporations will always let us down to save a few cents.
