Wow, no terribly run down buildings, I really need to make it out there again, I havent been since 2000 when I was just 14 and hardly got to see any of it. Great documentation, didnt realize that there were so many historic buildings in SLC left.

Your photos are absolutely magnificent...I was wondering about your photographic equipment...camera, special lenses, etc. I am guessing that the collection, posted here, is a complitation of many, many photos...would love to see more.

Wow, As always, Fantastic photographic work. I can't believe I missed this thread T-Mac. I ran across it by accident this morning as I was searching for pics for the Comp Thread. I guess I must have missed this during my recent move. Anyway, I'm glad for the discovery and the opportunity to give it a much deserved bump.

I've now taken the plunge, and have moved to a Downtown L.A. neighborhood. Often, I take long discovery powerwalks through Downtown. Like Salt Lake, L.A. has some incredible historic architecture. What I appreciate about Downtown Salt Lake is that is has all been so beautifully restored and maintained.

T-Mac, I think Ill send you a P.M. this morning and ask for some more pics. These photos are simply stunning.

The Chicago school definitely remains the stricking original architecture of North America, and it's obviously more relevant than it's ever been.
You can see it all across the continent, in this historic lovely intersection for instance:
