Yuck. I do not like the glass on this building. This building is going to instantly look decades old.

True, but it will refect the sunrise and add to the view from LSD for the tourists due to the reflections. Not as bad as it could be I guess. Cookie cutter box.

Brace yourself for when you start seeing the exact same glass go up at 111 W. Wacker.

This is exactly why I don't want Related at all involved in this project. They've proven they are unable to move beyond poor quality materials and derivative design.

Nice shot^, Joe. Regarding the glass curtain wall itself, it is so uninspired.

I'm hoping to blame the dumbed down instagram quality instead of the glass.

First time I've seen it from this angle. I'm glad the gap is being filled.

I can't see that little brick warehouse lasting too much longer. Also, the vines on 600 N LSD are, uh... not coming in as hoped for. I hope they can fix this.

I thought the same on the brick building, but I hope it can stay with us

I was about to comment about how horrible the parking podium on 600 N LSD looked before I read this. Someone get over there with some Miracle Grow, stat!

I had forgotten about that, but there's always the spire site for something tall in the future. Though ultimately, I'd wish for taller highrises further west.
