Nice photos of my beloved home town. You've inspired me to go out and take some pics.

Not sure how this thread slipped past me. I always like seeing my city portrayed in photos like these.

My very first job when I moved here was working security in this bldg....

Superb photography, and you covered a large amount of territory! The best Indianapolis thread yet!

The Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art is well worth a visit, along with the interior of the World War Museum (a time trip into a monumental 1920s Art Deco world) and the interior of the state capitol.

It's so nice to see some old photothreads of mine coming back from the dead! Robert Pence, thanks for the nice comments, and I definitely plan on hitting up the Eiteljorg Museum the next time I'm in town!

The Eiteljorg is really cool. In some ways it's haunting. Not sure why that is.

Right now they have a motorcycle exhibit there. http://www.eiteljorg.org/explore/exh...s/steel-ponies

I saw Monument Circle thanks to the Megabus stop in Indy, but it was kinda sad to see how many parking lots there are just a few blocks north of there. Got a glance of the bike/ped trail too, but didn't take any photos since they just stopped to pickup or drop off people and move on.

Indy looks like a very clean & beautiful city however it really doesn't look like a city of over 830,000 people though.

City populations are pointless because of annexation... For being roughly the 35th largest MSA in the US, not bad at all.

Best Indy thread ever!

Every time I saw cluster of low-rise buildings I wondered how many illegal activities going on in there, voile, gangs, drugs, pros and others.
