I made this a long time ago, despite the fact I uploaded it about a week ago.

A 3D computer animation of 4WTC rising. Likes, comments, etc, all appreciated!

I think the best thing about this building will be the curtain wall when completed. It's sheer size makes that huge wall seem more elegant than just a glass box. Plus the quality of the glass is amazing!

When all the glass is up, will it be officially T/O then ? I see the thread is still here.

^ Yes, the parapet glass goes a bit higher than the last steel. Also, if a tower is T/O it still remains here until completion.

^^ You don't say?

Also, I love the sharp angles in this building. It looks like two knife blades on top of each other.

Do any of you remember when the renderings for this building were announced, the time in which almost all the people hated it and trashed it all over the 4WTC thread?

Now it's over 5 years later and things are wrapping up to be awe-inspiring.A true landmark for America.

Back then, I was a part of the group that pushed for the rebuilding of the twin towers.

The last time I was with that group was on July 4th and was tasked with handing out flyers to the public to support the rebuilding of the twin towers.

I wound up throwing the flyers in the trash when I realized that I was wasting my time.

I don't mind the new design.
In fact, this design replaces two towers with four where each tower has it's own personality.

Don't like my opinion?
Good! I am tired of others deciding for me to hate it.
It's not the Fraud 'em tower. It's 1 WTC.
This is the "new" New York!

Well, I like the curtain-wall, but I'm still not crazy, at all, about the massing.
