Would a connection to Wabush have anything to do with Churchill Falls?

The article in the CBC today says apparently a lot of NB'ers go there for work as it has a booming mining sector and that currently, it takes them up to 3 days to get there....

Saint John looked beautiful...awesome skyline, well maintained and the gorgeous buildings....who knew! We arrived on the Carnival Glory, and were immediately impressed by the warm welcome, my wife even got a long stem rose, as we stepped ashore, and everyone was so helpful and friendly. I left Saint John when I was 12, and have been back numerous time, however this time was totally different. We rented a car and drove all over the city, taking pictures, mainly of buildings and architectural features. WE have traveled all over Europe and I feel that many of the buildings are comparable to what you see in European city's. Saint John and its citizens, should be proud. There is no other city in the Maritimes, that can compare to Saint John......especially that place over to the east...(just thought I would throw that in)

If I can figure out how to post the photos of our visit, I will!
if u have a flickr account upload them to there.then u open a picture and right click on it and a box will show up with different sizes.u click on a size then pic will open.then u right click on the pic & click copy image location.then once u do that bring it back to here and go up top to that yellow icon & it should say insert image.then that address from the picture u paste that address into the box & once u finish with doing that for how ever many pics then u go below & click submit.
hope u followed this completely.i tried to go step by step cause i had to figure out how to do this couple weeks myself.so hope this helped.

I recommend http://imgur.com/

You can just drag-and-drop images right onto the webpage and it'll give you the option to upload them as an album.

I had just made a comment about The Shoe Company on the weekend while visiting Fredericton, I noticed they had one on the UNB Woodlots site. And was wondering how if Fredericton can have one why can't we.

I wonder if they will be setting up in one of the vacent storefronts across from Payless

PetValu, the same store that opened in the old Bulk Barn location, will be opening a new location in the old Blockbuster building in KV.

PetValu.com

Also I heard a rumor that the reason the St. Huberts in KV hasn't opened yet is because they went over budget when building it, so they have to find a new owner. Not sure how much truth there is to that though.

Mexicali Rosa's Moving to Princess Street

It will be moving to the location occupied by Winger's sports bar, which has gone out of business.

North End from the St. John River

Boars Head/Millidgeville/Area around Anchorage Avenue from Grand Bay

Photos by me!

I'm really excited to hear about Mexicali Rosa's moving! I saw a picture of their new patio on their facebook page. Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in town.

Pseudio closed down in East Point Shopping Center. As I think it was not the best business case to bring a second Pseudio in the city, I start to feel sorry for Northrup.

As long as the people will spend their money in Bangor, Moncton or Halifax it will be hard to either keep or attract new retailers

Lets hope The Gap will give a second breath to East Point.

Do people really travel to Bangor to shop? Seems mediocre to me, retail-wise.
