Too bad it's not noticeable when driving towards North down King George.

Yes they will. 100MB/s Fiber to every suite which is extremely fast in this day of age. In terms of fiber however it isn't very fast and in no way does it reach the limits of fiber which can reportedly handle 100GB/s. Actually 100MB/s can actually be achieved with coax.

Sorry to sound nit-picky but I think you mean 100Gbps/100Mbps, lowercase 'b' for bit; 'B' is generally the acronym for byte

It's not the cable that is limitted to 100mbit. It is the Internet provider in the building who would be limitting that speed. Novus here in Park Place offers 200mbit Internet speed to the home and standard fiber can do 1gbit+ without issue. But you can get Shaw 100mbit in most areas now anyway.

How does that work, anyway? Are the interenet access fees rolled into your monthly strata fees or do you have to get a seperate contract with the provider servicing the entire building?

What provider? First time I've heard of FTTH in Surrey.

It's a provider called Novus that handles the connections. You aren't required to get it hooked up. You pay them directly, nothing to do with the strata. I have Shaw right now because it was, at the time, a better deal for me for what I wanted package wise (tv, net, phone w/channels and features I wanted).

http://www.novusnow.ca/ in Park Place. Not sure who would handle Ultra. Might be the same. But again you can still get your standard Shaw, Telus, or Bell if you want.

Novus actually offers a great deal for 300mbps internet for about $99. Which is the fastest speed you can get in the lower mainland.

I think WAVE gave them a big hit in the last couple months. only few units were sold. It may change when they open the build for people to visit and really see and feel it. Looked their townhouse, it is really solid structure.

That's one of the things I really noticed about it right from the beginning; it's a giant concrete rectangle. The WAVE, however wavy it may be, at least has some character to it's design.
