The temporary road down into the pit is finished and excavation is continuing.

I know, right! I wish they would build the tower first then dig the foundation after.

Caissons are well underway at the site, which means by the standards of this web site, the building is under construction. I'll get some pics Saturday at the latest so a moderator can have visual proof and move the thread. Maybe someone else can take pics sooner than me and we can get this moved earlier

This article is from August 23 and it shows some new renderings. I'm pretty sure that I haven't seen this posted anywhere.

Yes it's under construction. Probably still won't look like anything for a few months though.

I wonder how high up this sky garden atrium is going to be. From the looks of the renderings, I'm guessing only about 3 or 4 stories or so...

From the website:

Quote:
Caissons
Caisson work began August 20 and will continue for about two and a half to three months. Caissons are shafts ranging from three to six feet in diameter that are drilled through the earth into bedrock and filled with steel-reinforced concrete to support building columns.

It's not ready to start rising quite yet. Foundation work is still going on but it is going on at a furious pace. Work is generally going on from 7 AM until 11 PM and some Saturday hours as well.
