One of Seattle's outlying counties started running 24(?) double-deckers recently.

Downtown Seattle has too many buses on surface streets, despite the Downtown Transit Tunnel serving a couple dozen routes, Third Ave being a bus-only spine at rush hour, and the Second/Fourth couplet being a second spine. Double-deckers are a smart idea to simply cram more buses in. This will be especially helpful when the tunnel goes all-rail.

(This being SSP and me being me, I have to clarify that Seattle has two Downtown transit tunnels...one for buses and light rail, and the other being a deep bypass tunnel for Amtrak, commuter rail, and freight built a century ago.)

There are several lines that use articulated buses in NYC, but the only ones that I can remember are the M15 running on 2nd Ave and the Q44 running on Main Street in Queens.

I tried doing one for Stockholm, but I couldn't find the info on-line, so instead here's a map with just the lines I remember taking articulated buses on myself:

That's pretty common in Brazil and Colombia where they use special boarding stations for BRT. Curitiba has had double artics for 30 years on all of their trunk routes:

It is. I'm guessing that's a major transfer point. There's major bus transfer location here in Center City that I've given some thought to in terms of its configuration. I may have to post that and see what folks here think.

That's the Government Square bus hub right next to Fountain Square. It's the busiest transit hub in the city. The streetcar will go right by here as well once it's completed.
