^Me too.

I like it, the glass is spectacular, but it just looks so lonely.

I could see that fitting into Vancouver somewhere.

No way! Only dull un-imaginative, repetitive rectangle designs for us thank-you. At least that's the stance of Larry Beasley, and Brent Toderian & Co.

This offering (already built and in use somewhere, judging from the photo) is ok for me, but definitely rather suburban in character. I could not imagine it in Central Vancouver, or in a position of prominence.

Really? I visualize it somewhere at the very west end of Robson, just off Denman. With the imposed height limit's of that area it would be quite well suited.

I suppose I can agree with that, but to me, it's stark and utlitarian looking - rather harsh.

We couldn't even have locals think outside of the box by having Robson Square covered with that clam-shell glass roof without screaming bloody murder....never mind a continuous glass roof over the entire span of Robson Street lol.

We still don't have any new renders for the "Vancouver's Turn" project, but here is some inspiration from the famous "Turning Torso" in Malmö, Sweden.

More photos in here.

I also wouldn't mind seeing something like Bella Sky Comwell hotel twin-towers in Copenhagen, Denmark, also here in Vancouver. Maybe the complex planned to replace the casino area next to BC Place could become something like this instead of that bulky glass structure currently proposed?

I stayed in that brand new designer hotel in last July. More photos from inside and out side in here.
