So glad I booked my holidays for last week in July/ 1st week of August.

June has been really sketchy for the past few years. It snowed up in the Caribou cottage country last year in early June!

16 degrees in Osoyoos That is crazy! It was 20 in Vancouver today and 25 in Kamloops, so it must just be the southern most part of the interior that is cold.

Although 25 is still cold for Kamloops, I remember in 2006 or 2007, June 26 ( I remember the date because it was my sisters bday ) It was 40 degrees. Now that is summer! This, if it is anything like last summer, then I have no hope left.

I remember it hitting 42 (unofficial of course) in Kelowna and Vernon one summer, that was brutal! I am not made for that kind of heat, 30 is perfect for me.

In my high school years I remember a lot of really hot summers in Vernon. It doesn't seem to be that way now.

I also remember a fair amount of snow in winter.... these last few they've hardly had any down in the valley.

Kelowna had quite a bit in 2010-2011, more than I remember seeing there in a long time.
