I heard the 'ArtHouse' will be ready by the fall of 2013 - I assume the design was approved?

What is the point of shooting a picture of the floor showing the carpet or a wall outlet? I don't get it. Interior photos of windows can have such high levels of contrast that they are impossible to be flattering unless well taken by some one who knows how to use a camera and manual settings.

I took the photos via an iPhone, they weren't quite open to photos and the group tour made it even more awkward. Better luck next time.

At least they have ceiling fans. I'd love it if my apartment had a ceiling fan.

Hey guys, I was actually considering moving to the Freedom Center. I used to live down in the Pearl and miss the urban lifestyle. I am totally down with living in a small space, but I just couldn't get past the lack of privacy when I have friends stay the night. It was interesting how the leasing agents described the project, "This is a new product to the urban rental market." Unfortunately the leasing agents fail to understand living an urban lifestyle, as they commuted from Salem. I was haggled into why an urban lifestyle in the Pearl is the way to go, and they constantly asserted I don't know what that is. I found it humorous because I own that PearlHelp website and used to live at Lovejoy Station...

My apologies I thought the photos were for a marketing page for the project, and not from your i.phone

Those kind of conditions are impossible to get good photographs of.

This always happens when a new building opens. The leasing agents talk like complete outsiders - because they are outsiders. They fail to realize that most (if not all) of the people considering renting somewhere like that are there for a reason: they already want an urban lifestyle. It's like trying to convince a guy at an auto dealership who is looking at trucks to buy a truck instead of a motorcycle. There's a reason he's looking at trucks.

I remember having a leasing agent at Gallery Park downtown greet me by saying "Get ready for your new urban lifestyle!"

"Actually, I live about five blocks away. I saw that you had a 1 bedroom available and I thought I'd check it out since my lease is about to expire."

The leasing agent just said "Oh" and seemed lost, as if the only selling point was the urban-lifestyle buzzword.

I'd have to assume so. Surely the renders for this building didn't look this bad.

That's hideous.
