Maine is a wonderful state, but the future is in recreation, tourism, and conservation. The worst thing they could do is run concrete all over the place, and destroy the character.

Have you been to the parts of Maine where they plan to build this road? I can see how this would look to someone from NYC, but this will not touch the character of the state..that's simply a gross exaggeration.
