I noticed a lot of the stuff in that demo unit is from restoration hardware. That floor lamp is awesome but pricey.

Here are some pics I took today at the Gotham site. Looks more like demolition than deconstruction.

Those were some pretty old houses they knocked down...at least 80 or more I'm sure. This is going to look really nice once it's completed, and I like that there will be views of HP and other projects that have gone/are going up on the south side of the streetwall on gloucester...

Gotham excavation 2012 10 20

A little late in the day for a shadowless shot. Damn high buildings always ruin one's hole-in-the ground photos.

Here are some twitter pics from Fortress Real Capital of the crane going up at the Gotham.

Here's a pic from Brad Lamb of the crane:

Thanks! I was passing by on Saturday and I saw all of the activity, but I couldn't tell from my vantage point on Lyon whether the crane was going up at Lamb or Richcraft's site.

They were talking about the road closure around there (due to the crane being built) during the traffic report yesterday, and I couldn't figure out what what project it was.. guess this was it!

What do you think the sign reads on the other side of this door; "No Exit" or "Watch your step".
