One thing I still cannot understand why Japanese steel structure building can do cladding much quicker than Taiwanese steel structure building. Japanese contractor can put glass on the half way of entire structure is formed and Taiwanese contractor can only put glass when entire structure is completed.

im sure taiwanese can clad a building while skeletal structure is still being erected. it probably has something to do with bureaucratic taiwanese construction codes preferring to wait til entire structure is completed.

tx for posting. question: how are they going to take all that protective paper off the glass/walls when there's no scaffolding around it and ladders are too short??

It is possible that they are going to use some facility called carriage or boom which originally use for cleaning glass.

i hope they eventually get rid of all those old dirty tin-roofed low rises. they are such an eyesore and out of place in that area.
