Love it as well, however, didn't a dollar store just move in there? It'll be great to see that corner finally be gutted and Alberni almost a complete High end street. Except that there is a Michaels there now

Across the street will probably be more high end retailers in the new Thurlow office tower.

O.Noir, a successful "dine in the dark" restaurant

O noir? Amazing!

I have been to the one here in Toronto. The food is quite mediocre but the experience is a must!

The name of the restaurant at 200 granville will be coming soon, good news I can share is it isn't Cactus club, Earls or Joeys!

We will be seeing a lot of lobby and building renos over the next couple years as landlords scramble to fight the tenant attrition which will be created by the new buildings coming online in 2015.

Isn't Miku moving into the 200 Granville space? http://www.vancitybuzz.com/2012/07/m...nville-street/

Also great news about O.Noir. I remember dining there in Montreal and it really was a great experience. It's about time they come to Vancouver.

Then the usual suspects/blog whores will be all over the place for the first three months as per SOP here in La La land-then the place will sink into obscurity-also as per SOP.

And wouldn't that mean they'd have to change the name of their Oxford roll? One of their waitrons told me they named it after their landlord, I kid you not.

For those who don't know CF, Cadillac might sound very retro, but not in a good way! Do they still make Caddies?

Mia Stansby blogged about it in the Sun on July 19 - and her source is CF apparently:

Sorry, I was being somewhat facetious. I can't remember the last time I saw a late model Cadillac in Vancouver proper. They're rarer than Lambos, I swear.

Escalades are Cadillacs and are omnipresent in the lower mainland.
