I asked a business team member at the Apple Store yesterday about the CCC store and of course he said that he didn't know and that the emolyees would find out the same time the public does but he thought it would probably be late October. He said they would announce it about a week before it happens

I ask about it every time I go in... I usually get late fall.. I was hoping it would be done before the new iphone release on the 21st... Oh we'll ill wait in one more apple line at gateway I guess... I wonder how they will deal with the lines at CCC.. GATEWAY has the huge islands on 500 west.

It will be interesting to see. They won't be able to bunch the line up like they do on 500w... And will also have to have the line crossing busy traffic... Would have been cool to see it for the iphone 5... Pretty big release

Anthropologie opened today on Level Two West. It wraps around escalators so it has windows overlooking Main St.

Apple door was open and one could see that they were still framing.

West Elm and Art of Shaving claim to be coming soon.

Nice retro touch -- Starbucks at Crandall Bldg has inlaid its name in tiles at sidewalk thresholds on Main and 100 South. There is furniture inside shop but it looks as if there is still finish work to be done.

Gap will open an Athleta store at City Creek soon. My wife was just asked to interview for it. Just saying...

It seems that there is starting to be some serious movement on the City Creek Condos front. I last updated it only 11 days ago, but simply out of curiosity I decided to check it again this morning, with surprising result. One note of significance, both units on Floor 29 or 99 west have been purchased, I'm assuming by one person, that would be one fantastic condo (jealous)

Great news on the condo front! Also some good milestones hit with the Regent now at 50% and 99 West at 40%. Richards Court is definately the slowest moving but that's probably to be expected, the other buildings are much cooler.

Hmm... Do you think that was the purchase by Huntsman, that was rumored to be taking place... Maybe Romney?

The Huntsman purchase was months ago, he owns a very modest 2 bed 2 bath unit in the lower 3rd of the building.

It was a joke. It was more of the idea of who even has the money to toss out 3 million+ per unit and he came to mind first. Donald Trump also prefers having a condo in his own buildings anyways.

Bummer. I was eying that condo on the 29th floor with the huge terrace that faces City Creek and Temple Square. (By eying I mean hoping that it would remain unsold for forty years, at which time I may or may not have enough money to buy such an expensive place to live.)

EDIT: Oh, never mind. I was talking about a unit on the 28th floor. Good to see that's still available.

If someone wanted to combine two units, won't he eventually need a building permit?

When we were trying scope out what was happening with stores last winter/early spring I searched West South Temple and happened to see permits for individual apartments.

Latest word on the apple store is by then end of October. The constructon barrior has been extended out on the spaces on both sides of the apple store.. I think the small space to the west side said it was going to be the art of shaving.. Or somthing similar..

The store on the upper floor (some long ass name that starts with A) is opend... Has a really interesting store front.

Does anyone know the story with 77 kids? I thought they were closing and seem to remember them having a closeout sale.. Now they seem to be in full effect.
