Fort Worth's Trinity Terrace expansion tower is back on the drawing board after being cancelled in 2008 or so. It looks like it will be around 23 floors and 240' feet. It should be built at the corner of 10th and Fournier.

Below is the original design, the architects are the same, so I suspect the new design will look very similar, but a few floors taller.

These rumors always seem to be around. If the vacancy level decreases enough downtown, it might happen.

has nothing to do with vacancy levels. If they can find tenants, including themselves, then it gets built.

Dallas high-rise apartment proposal has friends, foes

Viewpoints are plentiful when it comes to a proposed apartment high-rise along the Katy Trail.
Developers want to rezone property on Cole Avenue to allow construction of an eight-story building. If the zoning is approved, they plan to replace the aging, 78-unit Saltillo Apartments with a 258-unit, upscale complex.

Thanks for the update Maconahey. The Richard Group's new HQ is rising quickly. I was wondering has District 1444 apartment project started? I seen several links saying it will break ground back in February but nothing recently announce.

Currently they are demolishing the existing structures. They are now going back to the drawing board to increase height, amount of retail and most likely the amount of residential.

Construction for Harwood’s Uptown Dallas office tower gets a chilly start

Even with the nippy weather, Harwood got a big turnout for the party, which after some speeches moved to the nearby Marie Gabrielle Restaurant.

The new office high-rise is already more than 40 percent.

“I’m in talks right now with a group that would take another full floor,” Harwood’s director of leasing Jihane Boury said. “April 2015 is when we are planning to have it complete.”

The building will have eight levels of parking with 13 floors of office space on top of that.

Brewery Building and parking lot has been purchased by Provident Realty. No word on what their plans are but my guess would be renovations into retail and residential with additional residential in the parking lot on site.

Hopefully they'll just be like Skyhouse and start their constructing in 2 weeks and then let everyone know what's going on...

Skyhouse Houston is actually downtown, which may be the best location of all if you're trying to encourage people to move to the city.

They're moving fast, which is the way the Skyhouse in Houston went up.
