The "we" part above is the provincial government whereas the rest you spoke to is mostly CoC funded, no?

Yup, but same money, ultimately the money for the Green line will come from provincial/federal money it won't be paid for by property taxes.

The province can choose to spend its money on city projects. Most LRT capital funding for instance comes from the province.

But the CoC has some say over city projects but no real say over the SWRR.

I recall reading that Beddington Trail was originally planned to accommodate dedicated transit lanes. If this is true, is there a case for a spur LRT line connecting the 78 Avenue terminal to the future BRT terminal in Symons Valley?
