FRISCO | Hyatt Regency Hotel | 15 FLOORS

Frisco council OKs up to $25.5M to help Sam Moon-owned hotel rise next to Stonebriar Centre mall

Quote:
A landmark deal that proposes attaching a Hyatt Regency hotel to the Stonebriar Centre mall in Frisco took another step forward Tuesday.

The Frisco City Council voted 5-0 Tuesday on an agreement to purchase conference center space for $10.5 million once it’s built by the hotel. The hotel would then lease the space back from the city and handle bookings and events.
Quote:
The project is proposed for the northwest side of the mall between Dillard’s and Nordstrom. The hotel would be at least 15 stories tall and have at least 295 rooms. It would include the conference center and parking garage.
Quote:
The city documents call for the hotel to be completed no later than December 2019.
