Brandywine's Cira II site, which sits over the Amtrak tracks at the corner of 30th & JFK, is rumored to be the first development site in the overall master plan, and even then they're going to realign 30th before anything happens there.

Well since there has been no " new " news about this project in a month , and reading it could take another twenty years for 3101 , the
terminal tower to become reality . I'd be willing to bet your life , the project as a whole will change dramatically before completed .
...... That is of course ..... if it don't go the way of ACC and a dozen other pie in the sky projects .....

We will be hearing about the Bulletin Building and Drexel plaza redevelopment at 30th and Market very soon. We will hear more about the first two or three towers in a few months.

Plan is still to do the office building at the beginning of 2018, and start the residential tower end of 2018 / early 2019?

I know that we're so far off that things are bound to change, but that video seems to suggest that these buildings are more than just placeholders, but are actual real designs.

This on the other hand looks like a very different design than the early version. It seems to have lost quite a bit of height. Good catch, btw.

^has someone suggested the SHoP designed master plan was little more than placeholders? Yes the final designs can change, but these are the intended.

I don't know if the rest of you care, but I found something of an easter egg in that schuykill yards brochure. On page 22, my highschool's engineering academy made an appearance. Looks like my school's facilities are being upgraded as I leave.

I love that skyline shot. All of the renderings thus far showed just the neighborhood itself, as well as close ups. Granted, Schuylkill Yards in itself is a neighborhood, but still. Lookin' good, either way.

New Schuylkill Yards renderings revealed

-They're talking about the new renderings and video posted on the website.
-Apparently the tallest tower (3101 Market), will have 627,000 square feet of office space, and 247,000 square feet of hotel space. That doesn't include first floor lobby and retail space.

If anyone at Brandywine is reading this, you might want to be more careful editing your Schuylkill Yards site!

“Founded in 1981, Drexel is a comprehensive global research university ranked among the top 100 in the nation. Wilth approximately 26,000 students, Drewxel is one of American's 15 largest private universities.”

According to the interactive map, 3101 Market East also has 322,000 square feet of residential space and 13,000 sq. feet of retail.

The total is listed as 1.488 million square feet in all, of which 1.209 million is office, hotel, residential, and retail.

The tallest is probably going to be supertall by roof height according to current speculation.

Not sure on the amount of floors, but I would guess about 70-75 floors. Comcast Technology Center is 1.329 Million square feet of space... so at 1.488 million square feet of total space, this will undoubtedly be over 1,000 feet in roof height.
