cool. now if only something could be done to hide the wretched courthouse building...

I hate this thing:

LFP

Of course it is grey. It can only be this ugly on purpose.

Personally I don't mind this building, just because it's so unique. I like having variety in our skyline.

Tricar's website now shows they have sold 50% of the units in this tower. They are probably 8 weeks away from topping out the tower and well underway inside doing the walls and drywall on the lower floors. The first move in's are likely happening by the Fall.

I am not sure what the expectations were but that seems pretty good, clearly shows there is still plenty of demand for downtown living.

Wonder where Tricar will build next...seem to be the only one capable at the moment.

Tricar has had 22s apartment project proposed for Ridout St near Grand Ave for nearly 5 years now. The lot is currently empty and they use it to park the trucks for the pre-cast concrete for the Azure tower and the Sunningdale Rd 14s condo now halfway done.

They have been very quiet on this proposal which makes me think they are rethinking it. Would not surprise me that they switch from apartment rentals to condo if they proceed after the 3 condos in London are built.

They also are preparing two new condo projects for Guelph.

I had no idea the building had such a large footprint. It's impact on the skyline is much more dramatic than I thought it would be.

On another note..........I LOVE the London Courthouse.

From this angle London actually looks like the Forest City. The truth is we have lost a lot of our forest canopy in the last 15 years. Disease and age plus developments and some road widening.
