But his point is it would have made more sense if the ⅄s were staggered to form a hexagonal pattern. Birds couldn't care less about right angles, but the human eye will trace implied patterns.
Everyone is agog at the LED technology but I'll be harsh in saying that once the novelty wears off we're still stuck with a pretty clunky unrefined tower. The fit and finish and attention to detail in this addition is pretty bad, all the browns don't even match.
I'm not one to quibble about bilingualism, but the convention for signage in the Ontario side of the river is English on the left. How they managed to get this wrong not once but twice on the entrance is puzzling:
Speaking of non-matching browns the colour inside the lettering's counters (holes in the Os, Ds, etc) don't even match!
