I like it! I'm trying to imagine this scene in 2 years with the rest of East Market lit up and the new Gallery aglow with digital signage. It'll definitely add some cheese, but also excitement/vibrancy to the area.

Will this sign be limited to red/blue/white? or will it get yellow
pixels too?

The night shot shows how much brighter the streetscape is with these on. Love them, or hate them they are certainly going to brighten up some darker corners of Market Street when fully lit.

East Market is going to have 4 digital displays, correct?

Yes. 4 total. One on each corner of both towers.

"Fashion District" will have at least a dozen digital signs.

Walked by in daylight and the resolution is as high-res as any I've seen. Looks good. I know a lot of people don't love this concept, and it's interesting to consider how much content will rotate through them (how much will be ads vs promotion of the area vs whatever else), but I think once the full set is up and running it will be really dynamic.

Time Square NYC has a crazy buzz with all the screens lit up and people/vehicles constantly on the move. Certaintly livens the area. It will be interesting to see how our own small version of it will work.

There's obviously a ton of room for development on this side of Market stretching all the way to the Disney Hole. I'd be surprised if we don't see an announcement or two around the time East Market wraps up.

I'm still surprised at the lack of progress in the retail base of Tower 1. It's still mostly empty inside the lower 2 levels.

Hopefully your assumption bares fruit . Maybe if that 547' dream machine at 1301 Market makes some noise , there
might finally be something significant at that black hole in the universe , i.e. 8th. & Market ....... maybe .

Looks like pieces of a new tower crane are now being delivered, presumably to be anchored to the yellow bracing they've been installing:

Love those Pics and the street activity looks awesome . Truly a great development and a big asset to Market St. Can only imagine what the next Market East development will be . I'm sure someone is planning the next one already .

Well, SOMETHING'S going on with the crane right now. Looks to me like maybe they're just using that yellow bracing either to support a platform from which they can convert the existing crane to one that can rise, or simply to brace the existing crane tower after its conversion to one that can rise. At least that's what it looks like from the aerial view of the webcam.

Yep, it's now a self-jumping crane anchored to the yellow bracing, and it's currently being jumped:
