Was up on the roof of the Canaccord Tower in Vancouver this week and grabbed some quick shots of the scaffolding towers that may be of some interest here. They all contain a small motor used to raise and lower the work deck that is replacing the vision glass and spandrel panels.
And finally this is what it looks like from inside the building looking onto the work deck:
A lot of time and care was taken to ensure the office tenants would still have light and visibility through the mesh while still providing fall protection to the workers and materials.
The project is expected to take about 2 years and is nearly complete the top floor.
