MEC is my favourite retailer. I also like Home Depot, Loblaws and TSC. TSC should open a location downtown Toronto to satisfy urban farmers.

LOL Who can really afford urban farming at $1000 a square foot?

Yep, the city has taken chickens off the list of prohibited animals for a few select wards. We'll see how long that lasts.

A (hopefully) cute little infill at the edge of Georgestown.

Right behind this blue house:

Where this brown one used to be:

They're putting up a rowhouse set:

Given the area, they'll probably be at least as nice and well-suited as the older, smaller in-fill project directly across the street from them:

MUN Core Science Building this evening.

What it'll look like once done:

*****

And the Hilton the other evening. I have absolutely no idea which of the 500 hideous renders it's going to look like, if any. But it's tall and wide like the adjacent Delta.

On my way to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch we got stuck in horrendous traffic on Dufferin--we ended up eating at United Bakers instead ha--I snapped Treviso 3 at Dufferin and Lawrence

back to Yorkville for groceries

Nice pics. Cheesecake Factory looks like a fun outing but United Bakers is probably at least equal quality and better value. At least if you're just after a basic NY cheesecake without all the crazy toppings.

In the next 3 years I hope to end snatch up a rental in Trevisio when the prices come back down to sane levels.

Never thought I'd see "Yorkville" and "Groceries" in the same sentence!

You don't see it in the photos but, the frit patterned glass and the individual fins on the main facade are a nice touch.

I'm confused. Half those projects haven't broken ground yet. The rest of the list feels a little short.

One Yonge, Bay Adelaide North, Theatre District ... no preconstruction activity
Halo on Yonge ... partial demolition ... no activity of late
19 Duncan ... demoltion
Rosedale on Bloor ... maybe has advanced to shoring and evcavation

Missing

PJ
Sheppard Centre Rental Tower
Clover
LCBO Tower
Fortune
Whitehaus
Supersonic

All I said was that they have started... I should have been more specific and said projects that have heavy equipment on site, for whatever reason. I also said most, not all, because I knew damn well that I had forgotten several...

Clover on Yonge started in late 2015.
