opening date

summersm343 in another thread quoted an article from Philly Biz that includes "W" as projects that will be opening in 2018. I find that alittle hard believe. Has a actual opening date been publically stated? My guess would be Spring '19

W's website currently says January of 2019. That may not reflect current progress.

Either my timing is impeccable, or they love to juggle these things around - port-a-potty on the move again:

It wasn't a fetish at first, but it may be turning into one.

I think he means the W will surpass it (grow another floor taller) and he won’t be able to see it anymore from his office after this week.

His office is on the top floor. He posted a pic of his vantage point in December. Plus not that big of a deal - we aren't trying to see pics of the Ritz, we all care about the construction of the W. He was just being nostalgic/sentimental, maybe?

But I think we can call agree we love his updates and viewpoint! Amiright?

. . . and realizing that from now on, they'll be living in a fantasy world, or The Matrix, or something like that ('cause it's no longer for real).
