It was for LT Matt LeTourneau of the Philly Fire Dept who lost his life at a fire on January 6th.

I noticed the cooling tower lit up too; appeared to be a floodlight shining that was on the roof. No idea if it’s permanent, but it def added another dimension to the building.

Gotcha. Thought it was odd that they were lit in the opposing team's colors but that makes sense.

Also - anyone know why the lights on LP and Mellon were Falcons red until after the game?
Those shots were taken earlier in the week. The entire city was green last night.

I also saw that they've hung up some construction lighting in the first couple levels of the lantern.

I didn't realize the WElement was so wide...it will really balance out the skyline from this perspective.

I was driving into Philly last night and for the first I the lights on in Comcast Tech and the rest of the skyline. This building was huge, and I mean huge! The building reminds me a lot of coming into Manhattan by riding down Flatbush Avenue from Brooklyn and seeing the World Trade. Even though this building isn't as tall as the World Trade; this building is absolutely huge.

On a somewhat different note; if you go to Belmont Plateau you can really see how the skyline is spreading out so well; from the Delaware River to 40th Street; I go there and image the city when it is built out.

top of W/E isn't going to be black like that right? I actually kinda like that, but I haven't seen that in any of the renders.

More so an FMC Tower photo - but the skyline was looking great in red (for the fallen firefighter):

Looks like the lantern is currently illuminated by a temporary light that seemed to be swaying with some wind gusts. There are at least several segments of glass on the south side, and smaller sections on the east side.

So much growth potential, the new Comcast Technology Center demonstrates that the sky’s the limit!!

Imagine the skyline in another 10 years!!
