I'd like to see it a bit taller. Not much, but another five stories might sell me on the massing more. It's reading ike it wants to be a little lighter on top.

The podium heights are actually aligned for these three developments. Now, that's rare.

The guys who are redeveloping the Royal Connaught are working on their next project, the Metro. It's next to to the downtown area, closer to the Escarpment, that's why there's a slope.

26, 30 and 36 storey residential towers

I can't decide whether I like 217 Adelaide or not. It seems a bit gimmicky.

Although I like the fact that the podium is aligned with the other buildings and it and incorporates real stepbacks (unlike 88 Scott and a billion other condos which dont want to sacrifice a foot of space in the units for the sake of the design)

The back alley behind those buildings (where I presume the loading docks of the 3 developments are located_ will be very congested. EDIT I just realized the alley way serving the loading docks will be Pearl Street.

MaryRobert Condominiums in Griffintown (include 22 000 sf of commercial space). Corner and Peel and Wellington, along the Lachine canal, in front of the Bassin Peel. Two towers - 22 floors.

No surprise that 22 Widmer was cut from 187 metres to 156 metres. (less than 1 metre shorter than TIFF) It is now tower 2 of the twin towered Theatre District Residences. Both are 156 metres tall, although the South tower, on the left, is 49 floors and the North tower, on the right, is 48 floors with the bottom 28 floors being hotel. The 6 heritage townhouses will be restored.

Tower 1, the 40-storey tower, is sold out.

Tower 2, the 30-storey tower, is launching soon.
