They're building a large mansion of some sort.

Thread has been cleaned up. Please guys, don't bait other users. This thread is not for having others spill out for your needs of self-satisfaction. This thread is for construction.

I have heard rumours that Arris is only going to build the podium and come back at a later date to finish the towers. Has anyone else heard this, or has some know into the decision?

Here is a shot I took in 2013. The only tower going up in this shot was Aura I, now this area has seen considerable growth with Mark on Tenth, Versus, 6th and Tenth Metropolitan, and the Marriott towers.

A throw back Thursday on a Wednesday!

Wonder how long until that parking lot at the lower left gets spoken for.

If something gets built there I hope it has a very good pedestrian friendly presence. The City Centre Parkade is a street killer. They should have left two or three sections in the Parkade for commercial or retail, but instead it is a wall of nothing. Every time I go to the Craft Beer Market I think what a disservice this parkade has done to this street. The centennial Parkade on 9th is a lot more pedestrian friendly, even without the commercial aspect.

This shot made me really dislike the Eau Claire terraced residential stuff. I had hopes of it being quite fantastic quite sometime ago, but alas.

The City released a timelapse video yesterday of the construction of the pedestrian bridge that goes over Macleod Trail to Chinook Center.
