We don't need the cost of a sole bid, were getting in on the world stage on the cheap. 2022 will likely be the last sole bid. Future world cups will be multinational affairs, it's simply too big now for anyone except maybe 5 or 6 countries to host alone.
This will be a fantastic party and will take soccer in North America to another level, the way the last North American world cup stimulated the creation of MLS. The Canadian Premier League should be mature by then and all of Canada will get into the excitement and development of grassroots support.
