Hey everyone, I have been working on a Mississauga SketchUp rendering for the past few days. I only have a few buildings in so far but it's a work in progress! I'll be adjusting the massing of the models to be more accurate eventually!
It certainly looks a slight less bulky in that specific render, the colour of the glass wasn't a big issue for me. I'm also wondering what might be filling in the gap between the first few floors and the rest of the building; mechanical maybe?
It's big but it doesn't actually look as big as it should in that rendering considering its proposed 280m height. Looks no more than 230m to me.

Yeah, exactly. And since it looks slightly taller the hub must be rendered at a lower height. Although it's tricky to tell given the perspective.

It looks good.
And to me, I don't feel it looks bulky (from either rendering). If anything I feel like Toronto could do with some more buildings with height and girth.
IMO, it only looks bulky compared to the neighboring residential towers that have smaller floor plates. Put it in the financial district and it would look right at home. That being said, I think that area of the Southcore would benefit from a bit of architectural diversity, so it's a welcome addition.
