30 Rock I think has the best location of any of the decks. This one will have a thrill element that 30 Rock doesn't have. But the ESB deck is getting upgraded, there's still the matter of the One Vanderbilt deck that hasn't been revealed fully. And the Tower Fifth deck proposes a few things like a slide over the skyline as well as other thrills.

But there could be more elements to this one as well...

The Precipice: Urban adventurers will be able to strap on a harness and climb this lattice atop 30 Hudson Yards out in the freezing wind. The 101st floor also has a party room. If you have to ask what it costs, etc. The observatory, the fourth one in Manhattan, looks the Empire State Building square in the forehead. Ticket sales are expected to bring in tens of millions of dollars per year.

Related hasn't confirmed any of the climbing, but the stair-deck on the observation platform hasn't been talked about yet either.

That would make it very different from all of the other experiences on top of New York skyscrapers. Check out this vid....

And again this view...not something I would do, but there are thrill seekers out there.

Looks like there's another viewing room with glass floor underneath the deck.

Liza Minnelli headlines Hudson Yards’ VIP preview

By Mara Siegler
March 15, 2019

Quote:
Liza Minnelli wowed the crowd at Neiman Marcus during a VIP preview of Hudson Yards Thursday, performing “New York, New York,” following a drop-in from Charli XCX. But we hear Minnelli didn’t just light up the stage.

“There was smoke coming from backstage, like it looked like a volcano, and the audience could smell something,” said a spy.

Insiders told us it was just Liza having a pre-performance cigarette inside the store.
Quote:
There was also buzz about Beyoncé arriving to perform — but a source told us that “there are conversations happening with Beyoncé” with Yards developers Related “for another event.”

Meanwhile, Whoopi Goldberg made her first appearance since beating pneumonia and sepsis, while Katie Holmes was seen trying on hair extensions, and Marla Maples made the rounds among the 100 stores, along with unending VIPs, including Anne Hathaway, Karlie Kloss and Diane von Furstenberg.

Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen went to a private dinner at Estiatorio Milos.
Quote:
A witness said, “There was a line of people waiting to get into Milos . . . Even billionaires like Andrew Farkas, Jed Walentas and Harry Macklowe had to wait . . . But then Tom and Gisele arrived — and were ushered right in.” Once inside, they were taken to a private room at the fifth-floor eatery. Also in line were “Shark Tank” stars Daymond John and Kevin O’Leary.

We hear later at yet another VIP bash thrown by Related’s chairman Stephen Ross and CEO Jeff Blau on the 50th and 51st floors at 15 Hudson Yards, there was one scary snafu: “One of the elevators stopped and dropped 15 feet,” a guest told us. But a rep explained, “It was a packed house. One of the elevators got stuck . . . It happens. Everyone was fine.”

Bergdorf Goodman’s Linda Fargo told us of the starry opening, “I am so wildly impressed . . . I feel like New York is not, per se, a mall culture, but I think this really has a shot.” Hudson Yards officially opened to the public on Friday.

Any office tenants in yet?

Seems like mixed signals in the building being "open" vs. actually hosting any tenants.

I'm working in the building daily as a contractor. There are definitely tenants moved in, but only on really one floor I know of. That will rapidly increase over the next three months.
