Took the fam to DOSC for brunch/Downtown Dining Week.

An absolutely delicious, semi-sweet trickery, not overly heavy, brisket benny and one of the best fruit bowls I have had in a long time.

^Wow this looks scrumptious.....

We have to go to Da De O at least 3 or 4 times a year. We went Saturday.

Appys.....

BAYOU GUMBO
Andouille sausage, shrimp, chicken, veggies and rice.

This has amazing taste. I recommend this.

[url=https://flic.kr/p/2dJsAiF]

CRAB CAKES
Sprinkled with cajun spice and served on a roasted red pepper coulis.

Simply delicious.

FRIED OYSTERS
West Coast oysters, breaded, fried and served with cocktail sauce.

So much flavor and great texture.

Po’Boys FRIED TIGER SHRIMP With herb mayo, lettuce, and tomato.

IMG_4735 by BLACK STAR III, on Flickr

SOUTHERN FRIED CHICKEN
A seasoned half chicken, fried crispy and served with coleslaw, gravy, and your choice of potato hash or jambalaya rice.

The fried chicken was a little dry. The seasoning was good and the skin was crispy. 30 Bucks for this dish....imo...about 10 bucks to expensive.

Let’s talk microbreweries. Come chat with local brewers, the City of Edmonton and Downtown Business Association about your dream brewery.

Seconded, easily the best sushi in YEG. Atmosphere is great too, feels just like a small sushi bar in Japan.

Interesting to see that it's located in an older strip mall in the burbs. I had to google map it.
