I hope it is not another Apple store. Traffic to apple store is decreasing. Does anyone still get excited to visit Apple store any more ? It slowly becomes kids' playground. The line to get newly release iPhone is getting shorter each time. I dumped iPhone couple years ago because of its limitation/restriction. I would love to see Google or Amazon store !

The Apple store at Metrotown still seems to be busy whenever I've walked by it.

ahhhh, lighted stairs ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Mm - yes! Those lighted stairs add class and sparkle to the project, (as well as giving useful light itself). I wish more projects throughout the city would do the similar.

One thing that sort of caught my attention today as I was walking around Richmond Olympic Oval is my discovery of a new T&T Supermarket hidden there. It's located right at this fairly modern and new-looking building at the intersection of Landsdowne Rd and Hollybridge Way. It is within walking distance to their massive branch at Landsdowne mall.

I even went inside just to take a look. It is not the biggest T&T that I have visited but it feels very charming both inside and outside. I know we have had discussions here about how appropriate a potential T&T could be in the new Brentwood mall. I know typically T&T is a pretty big and crowded supermarket that may not look "high class". However, this particular T&T, I feel, got that community vibe and looks very classy. Size-wise, it's perfect for a single floor at the original Sears location. Anyways... just thought I'd share this here because I feel this is perfect for Brentwood

i'm sure it will, there are a lot of Koreans moving into Brentwood... they're tired of the long commute from Coquitlam

Saw a big Starbucks Coming Soon sign at one of the glass facades today. Gives me hope that the retail/commercial portion will be accessible to the public by the 4th quarter/Xmas season.

Who cares, no? As long as the said portion will be accessible soon. Not a coffee drinker much either unless I'm travelling where coffee is better. Lol.

Yes. And soon another nearest to the Brentwood Skytrain station, nearest to the cool walkway connecting the development to the station. The horror. How dare a Fortune 500 enterprise recognized by many global urbanites open another one at kinda right smack where they bought a unit or two in the said development. Lol.

Good location.
Could you tell if it was a standard sized cafe or a bigger Reserve location?

Are you referring to the unit right in the centre that's directly in front of the Katsura tree? If so that's gonna be one giant Starbucks. A reserve would fit great there...that'd be cool
