: New dual tower mixed-use residential project including 22-story student housing of 205 units and 27-story market rate housing of 385 units for a total of 642,400 residential SF located north of 10th Street. Approximately 8,000 total SF of ground floor commercial uses are found along both street frontages at the southern corners of the building. The site is accessed via a full driveway connecting from Spring St. to West Peachtree St. along the southern property line and one additional ingress driveway along West Peachtree St. Central podium parking is shared among the uses and provides ~712 parking spaces over eight (8) levels. Separate leasing and lobby areas are found along both street frontages at the northern corners of the site.
The views from here will be great considering it's one of the highest points in Midtown.

I guess that wonderful oak next to the Comcast building will be gone. I hope that means that old transmission tower will also be brought down...

You can see from the image above the property doesn't encompass the transmission tower.

If you squint I guess you can be certain? But building a 27 story tower right next to a decommissioned transmission tower seems a bit odd, which is why I hoped it'd be brought down in the process.

That is now a cell tower, and it is on a neighboring piece of property. Hopefully once this new apartment tower is built, they will move the cell tower to atop one of the buildings, allowing them to sell that land and remove the old tower

I think that would be up to the GT Foundation with the property they purchased a few years ago, but it would be nice for this project to address a potential new street.

That Hampton Inn Ugliest Building in Midtown

Located right next door to the HIGH Museum and the Four Seasons.

Thanks to Lindsay Pope Brayfield & Associates.

I hope they can save Atlanta with their new hotel in the

FOX Theater historic district.

Please avail yourself to Tim Keane's design guidance.

Good design doesn't have to be more expensive.

Just great designers and have balls.

I hope this was nice enough for posting, but the buildings will last for 50 years!

Building to the lot line doesn't excuse bad design.

For over a century, skyscrapers designed for only a front view, were never to be built next to-- leaving a monstrosity for all to view from the rear.

Thanks-- I totally agree-- We are not even really asking for great design here-- just something competent--

Eric M. Robbins, president and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta, told the Atlanta Jewish Times (AJT) Wednesday that the sketch was just “one architect’s idea.”

“That is the current rendering of what we are exploring having in this space, which is a multi-use building for Atlanta’s Jewish community,” Robbins told AJT.

In other words, this is not what this is going to look like.

Either way, if they are looking to activate the campus more and build more than the one-story buildings they have, I'll take it. Seeing the consideration for an expanded museum and a residential component is interesting.

That's great news. No word on price range, but the location hopefully leans more toward affordable. The condo project, 126 Renaissance, has had a large drill on site the past few days. It's been in a different location when I've walked by. They're also back to parking on the entire sidewalk.

That angle shooter looks to be an architect/developer/public servant.
