And then once they reach the top of the core there's still roughly 30' of height to go to reach the top of the screen and penthouse.

Assuming it's still planned, there are supposed to be vertical stripes of light in the mechanical floor and screen aligning with each of the setbacks on both sides of the tower.

In the background.

Whats going on in the foreground? Looks like a good place for a nice mixed used, ideally some dense midrises.

^^ That looks to be the new Rush Outpatient Care Center. So sadly no, it's not mixed use. It also has an enormous parking garage.

It appears we may be getting a setback on the Northwest Corner that we haven't seen in renderings yet...

Adjustments made for top floor tenants. What was initially a full width 15' north setback that would have occurred two floors higher was revised to two re-entrant corner setbacks for terraces on the 54th floor with a two story space with glass on three sides in between. Two additional terraces can also now be seen added to the southeast and southwest corners.

This is similar to when the outdoor spaces were carved into the east corners of 150 N Riverside

Any plans for that big parking lot in the first?

There's an expressway under that parking lot.

Nov 24 The top is looking super dynamic. Very 150 N Riverside-esque.

This is shaping up to be one of the beefiest 800' towers I've seen.

Per the webcam, the crown steel is just about complete on the North and West sides.

Check out the time lapse feature. :29 seconds of pure American muscle and ingenuity.

This would of been a good candidate to be a super tall. Wouldn't stand out too too much to the point of detracting from the overall proxy skyline, aesthetics wise. As far as potential, another 300k sq-ft would of been ideal.
