Thanks!
It does look darker - at least the mullions are a darker gray.

I guess the balcony glass will give the final look.

I noticed that those two LED tiles are out already. I hope they will keep re-programming them to keep it fully operational.

I don't get why they'd make temporary steps out of solid concrete.

That explains it. Thanks for the info.

Those steps very pretty serious! There has been a crew demolishing them ALL DAY and even 7 hours later they were still struggling to put them apart.

HAHAHA. That's ridiculous that they built temporary stairs that well.

That photo shows the progress around 3:30pm, I presume? I hope they put as much effort into other parts of the building, as they put in these temp stairs.

About 2:18 PM. I always find it interesting when things get torn down or apart. You get to see the innards.

I'm looking forward to this little stretch of sidewalk getting cleaned up and done.

At least it wasn't 100% solid concrete. That probably wouldn't have been cured by now if it was.

Seems so wasteful. Not really "green" and "sustainable" that the city is obsessed with being

...and they will probably have to repair the pavement after all of that - the little rig with the pneumatic drill arm has probably torn up the new pavement with it's tracks.

One set of temporary stairs: 1 day's work for drill operator, 2 other workers, plus 1 team of pavement repairers.

Guess the rents in that building will eat up that cost...

Anyone else think the slope on the new sidewalk on Richards is a bit uneven (especially where they've installed a vent?)

Even after all these years, the Westin building is still one of my favorites in DT.

Yeah, it's classy. I wonder if they finished the repair work inside?

I'm sure this has been asked a bunch of times, but what is the elevator for near georgia and seymour that appears to go into the depths of the city? Mine shaft or secret dungy underground alley to match the above ground one?
