I thought 63 floors came from the first renderings that we saw of the resort.

Same with the three 725, 730, and 735 foot figures. I don't doubt you Mdiederi, but I am kinda skeptical since the floor count is different than we've heard...

4 floor increase to 67 could they have built that into the original 63 floor 735 foot figure? More floors same in feet?

We'll have to see. Once everything is all said and done we'll know. Even though the odds are strongly against me, I still think it may be taller since it's accomidating more floors. I'd figure that at 69 floors they could have well reached for 70, another first for Vegas if you exclude the Stratosphere...

I just looked at the open space diagram that is with the street level plan as seen on page 250 for fontainbleau. It has the roof at 707-721 and 735 feet agl. Is that what the planning department got from them.

Harmon Blocked

What is happening on Harmon by Planet Hollywood? It appears that half the street is blocked because of construction of some kind. Are they working on water and sewer for the PH towers or something else?

They're realigning the street at that intersection because CityCenter pushed Harmon north a little bit from its original location. It used to go straight across.

mdiederi thanks but I mean further back on the block next to where the second tower of PH should be going up sometime. They have a bunch of small cranes, etc moving around. Can't make out from the PH webcam what is going on.

Thanks for the updates guys!

About the PH construction. I don't know what's going on but I'm also curious. With the plans for all future construction on hold, I have to believe that PH must be trying to figure out how to handle the bit of land adjacent to Harmon that has been scheduled for the second PH tower.

TI,

I didn't hear that anywhere. But let's get real. There is no way that tower is going to get built anytime soon (meaning 5-10 years) IMO.

I would think that that open space diagram with the roof heights of 707-721 and 735 feet was sent to the planning department and approved. Could they have got an approval to increase due to the xtra floors?

That's exactly where I'm coming from as well...

That diagram shows spurs coming out from the tower, those are obviously not there. Has there been a design revision we are not aware of?

If you go to "klas tv" in las vegas click "traffic" then"web@traffic cams" the boulder station cam is located east of the strip and it is a perfict way to see the hight of the stratosphere-fontainbleau and wynn side by side from north to south when they go to a wide shot.

Thanks a million! Great to see it from another angle... Also, the Stratosphere webcam was been acting weird for the last 24 hours...

Cosmopolitan

"Website and Resort under construction" states the website www.cosmolv.com

Maybe we'll start to see some more details about the resort soon?
