Nope, this will be a separate mini-branch for East Hamilton. They're not actually that close to each other.

Residents of the expanding Indwell community development in Hamilton’s east end will have a new 1,500 square foot neighbourhood library by the end of the year.

Indwell, a local housing charity, is partnering with the Hamilton Public Library, to build the new outlet in the four-storey McQuesten Lofts, the second building at the corner of Parkdale and Melvin avenues that will also include 50 one-bedroom apartments.

I drove by this earlier today. It looks fantastic in person. The cladding on the second building looked complete, at least the street side.

I live in the neighborhood so I walk by fairly often and I agree, the whole thing has turned out way better than I thought it would and have really made that intersection look a lot more urbanized. A lot of properties on Parkdale have also renovated and updated their look in the past year as well and I'm sure thats no coincidence.
