Ha, Little Szechuan, which is located in that small commercial strip, is a favorite haunt of mine. Whenever I am in town it is a mandatory stop....not that my friends complain. I do agree that the lot is primed for a four to eight story multi-use development.
On another note, are there any rumblings of moving the inter-city bus station currently located on North Atherton?

I just ate there last weekend when I was in town! There was a 45 minute wait, but it was worth it. It was nice to see so many tower cranes up on campus and around downtown.
^ Yeah that's looking pretty sweet. Wondering if this below view implies they would actually project games and other things, or if it is just a possible idea for a graphic over the windows.

I always feel like retail dies at Mclanahans, if not there, then Mcdonalds. I wonder if this building and the businesses it attracts will give people something for which to walk farther down College ave?
^ Even though the hearing was only for Phase I of the entire project, the issues raised seem very surmountable.
