Yeah for sure, but still, the amount of parking should be restricted anyways so people use transit instead.
There have been one case where above parking garage was built in another condo projects in Mississauga City Centre due to technical issues, but the garage is very well hidden from the street, covered up by lofts. As long as it is hidden, and doesn't waste too much space, above ground parking is not necessarily bad.
I think though that developers in Mississauga City Centre, where land is more expensive, don't want to waste space with above ground parking anyways, but I could be wrong.
