Well..the whole campus (Fennell) should be vacated

but as for that campus, nope, nothing there is vacant. In fact, we built a brand new building.. supposedly temporary..on top of a parking lot.

Brilliant I say..Brilliant!

Mohawk has 3 campuses I believe.
One out in stoney Creek, the Fennell one (which I go to) and one out in Brantford.

I was under the impression that this building was no longer used, please correct me if I'm wrong.

No that's a community centre that Mohawk College runs. Students can volunteer and co-op.

Phew, that'd have been a waste of a building and no mistake!

Hamilton Metals would make a sweet grocery store or market. It shouldn't be torn down. In Baltimore they turned a huge old factory like that into a shopping mall.

That was the hope, but Trinity Developments wants to turn it into big box retail.

Ah, ok. Now I know what area Trinity is referring to. That's too bad.

i have photos of a few of these buildings, but if you want to provide some matt, here's what i would need:

- Tivoli Theatre auditorium
- the other Lister buildings
- Firestone
- Consumers Glass
- Hamilton Metals
- the dundurn south factory building
Tivoli:

(unfortunately the only interior that I've shot, not many of it's fine details are in this shot. I also don't really have an exterior shot because it's honestly not very interesting at all)

Here's the main "other Lister building", the Thomas building. No interiors because it's a rather boring, stripped out and dangerous shell.

Firestone:

Consumers Glass:

I'll try to fill in the blanks as I come across more photos.

From the roof of my building (shh) you can get a great view of the flooded roofs of these buildings.

And similarly I can get a great view into the units in your building if the blinds aren't drawn I've gotten a couple of people to stare from their kitchen windows.

The roof of your building however is not something I have experience with. I am interested though. I love roofs.

Walked past this today, shame it's in such a ratty condition :-(

It actually looks in worse shape today than it does in the photo.

Do you happen to know if anything is planned for this building? OR are they just holding on to it hoping someone will buy/lease it..?
