That render that Built Form posted was from almost 4 years ago so I'm not sure how accurate it's going to be. And yes, this project seems to be very slow going.

Nothing going on with the parking lot and little red building. I was going to cut through the parking lot to go to the alley and get some pics from the back but it was closed with a gate and I couldn't get through so I didn't go to the back.

IIRC, it's owned by Solterra. But I wouldn't expect movement on that site anytime soon...

The crane at the Addition, from Nelson and Burrard. Rebar creeping above the Murray hotel before the building eventually blocks the view of the brick exterior London Place.

This tower should be taking off soon. I got around to the back this time to get some pics. I like how the tower gives some space to the Murray Hotel's light and air shaft.

Thanks for the update. This one is flying under the radar, but Kenstone + Henriquez Architects did a very interesting project at UBC together. Hopefully they bring the same standards to Addition.

Are the residents at the Murray Hotel relocated while they fix the place up, or is it just facade work? The area always attracts shady characters to hang out there at night.

They haven't done any work at the Murray yet.

Hopefully it's gutted, the place is a mess.
