First is 11th which will be approx same size as 77&12th and will be connected to it as well. That starts this year. Also, this year the primo site at 1125 P'tree will rise 50 floors with apts and condos also scheduled for later this year. Story is from today's ABC

This is HUGE!!!! Here is a link to the article. I thought that 12th & Midtown team were being a little too quiet with all of these other proposals. It wouldn't surprise me if they were the next to break ground after 33 Peachtree Place.

I just hope the grocery store is still included the project on 11th.

This is GREAT!!!! 6 towers proposed over midtown that over 50+ storiese
thats what you called Getting dense!!!
98 14st: 39,57,60 stories!!!!
1138 peachtree: 51 stories
1125 PEACHTREE: 50+ STORIES
7&12TH :50+ STORIES

AND RIGHT NOW ATLANTA HAS A GOOD 19 TOWERS OVER 500FT.
IF U ADD THIS UP THAT WILL BE 25 ,MIAMI HAS 28 OR 29 WE have to beat that ASAP.I THINK MIDTOWN WILL SPREAD DOWN SOUTHWARD HEADING TOWARDS DOWNTOWN AND THATS GREAT!!!
WISH DENSITY CAN HAPPEN AROUND THE BOA.

Hopefully 50+ stories will be the new thing by 2015..because I Want at least 3 more 1,000 footers for our city before 2020....

We need density in the air ASAP and ground level.

98 14th Street Tower C - 60 stories

1138 Peachtree - 51 stories

1125 Peachtree - 50 stories

1125 Peachtree is a part of 12th & Midtown on Peachtree street between 12th and 13th street. There are two more towers proposed for 12th & Midtown but only one of them is said to be 50-stories

I really don't think you should count your chickens before they hatch. "Proposed" and "in construction" are two very, very different things and a lot can happen between now and when the shovel is actually supposed to hit the dirt. At the very least please see all of these new projects as the "best case" for the immediate future.

Nice find! I wonder what they have planned for that large (seemingly unprogrammed) space behind the garage? I hope they do something to activate that area so it doesn't just become dead space. Wouldn't you want to put some retail back there?

You mean the bottom left / southwest corner right? I am assuming that is an entry/lobby for the residential tower. Or you might be talking about a different spot

I've seen the architectural drawings. Nothing goes over the terrace area. The residential will connect at the top area to the retail 9 spot for a few floors, but that's it. Its been mention earlier, but I believe because of MARTA running underneath right at that location they're limited in what they can build there.

33 peachtree place

Ok so I found this article that at least mentions the space...

http://www.whatnowatlanta.com/2013/0...re-apartments/

"Amenities will include a resort-style pool deck, club rooms, and one-of-a-kind urban park and courtyard space."

in that giant area labelled "terrace" in the above site plan.. somewhere in there will be a pool - my guess is that is right next to the tower - if you look at the render you can see where a pool would probably sit up there above the retail/parking garage or something. The "terrace" should be interesting.. I agree it is almost certainly a requirement based on the marta rail passing underneath and the inability to build above parts of the site
