I think it was okay, they always give a second for players to try and fish the puck out before whistling it dead.

Still early but I don't see Calgary making it anywhere near the playoffs this season
Montreal - misses playoffs

Toronto - 2nd round exit (looses to pittsburg)

Winnipeg - 2nd round exit

Edmonton - champions

Vancouver - 2nd round exit (although they will beat out the cup favorite dallas)

Calgary - 1st round exit

At least Kessel won't be chosen last at the All-star game this year.

If I said on here that the Leafs would be 3rd overall in the NHL at the end of November, all of you people would have laughed at me..

Hopefully Kessel and Lupul keep it up, and Gustavsson too! He's been playing great!

I'll be at the Leafs-Bruins game on Wednesday, and haven't seen the Leafs lose since 2007.. so hopefully they pull out a better effort than the last 2 against Boston!

PS.. So this is Kessel "cooling down": 6 points in his last 5 games. Shows the season he's had so far.

In other news, got invited to the game tonight, oh yeah.

LOL this is a joke, Montreal misses the playoffs yet Winnipeg makes it to the second round.

I think I can hear Nicko screaming from here in Kyoto...

I would have given 2 games max... Especially considering Lucic wasn't suspended and Malone get nothing for his heatshot on Campoli.

This hit wasn't suspended...

Didn't see the last hit but I have to agree with you here. I wasn't pleased with Max's hit but only because it seemed hypocritical. I don't know that it warranted suspension. Especially if Lucic got away with a blatant attempt to collide with a goalie (forbidden by every rule that exists).

See the youtube video above... Malone makes contact with Campoli's head.

If Pacs is suspended I don't know from where the goals will come during our 3 games road trip in California.

Only 3 players in the NHL have more ES goals than him.

Louis Leblanc (our first round pick in 2008) has been recalled from Hamilton and will replace him.

News weren't all bad for the Habs, Andrei Markov practiced with PK Subban on the first PP unit today. This means he might play on Wednesday.

Or maybe they'll suspend Markov for faking an injury?

Markov ? is that the dude who spends more time in a wheelchair than on skates, the only player with a handicap sticker in his car, so is he finally ready for his grueling 20 game season (if he lasts the long) he'll probably trip over his own luggage going to the airport

I'm going to the game tomorrow and haven't seen the Leafs lose live since 2007, so I'm hoping they actually decide to play this time!

Sure he is only the 33th player to have played the most games in a Habs uniform in our 100 years history.

He has managed to stay +34 troughout his career while playing on horrible teams (as opposed to Koivu's -10).

This dude has 254 pts in 356 games since the lockout. I dare you to find a d-men that has maintained such pace aside from Lidstrom. He is the best PP QB in the NHL. I think I've given enough facts!

Not bad for someone who has handicap sticker on his car.

So, what's kept you away from the ACC since 2007?

Maybe he can bail Martin's ass out, if they lose all 3 games on their road trip major changes are in store for this team,TV ratings are down a whooping 14% this year, not good for beer sales
