Austin55- I posted some shots of it in my thread in the Sketchup forum. That was a while back-- I thought you saw those. It looks great! You should geolocate it.

Hi everyone! Had some time to do 6 more buildings.

First, the Embassy Suites under construction. This gives a good idea of the massing and scale-- all from the plans ydoc14 found on the HDRC site.

The Christus Santa Rosa(?) building adjacent to the Vistana:

Courthouses old and new:

Hilton Palacio Del Rio:

The historic Post Office/federal courthouse:

downtown so far:

it was already finished. It's not up right now. Boquillas took alot of the models off of the Sketchup libraries temporarily. Luckily, I downloaded all of the models.

Actually, I did Hotel Contessa, which looks a lot like Valencia. I will definitely do the Valencia in the future, and the La Villita Assembly Hall, which is that round thing with the flower painted on top of it, for Austin55

Did a mockup for the Aloft proposal last week but forgot to post it:

Skyline view from the East-- it should be around the same height as the Medical Arts/Emily Morgan building:

It looks very nice! That's just the kind of slightly off-beat, yet tasteful style I'd love to see more of in downtown.

Awesome! It looks very realistic, especially the upper part. I thought the first pic was actually a real photo until I scrolled down all the way and saw the dotted line and that there was no traffic or tourist.

Thanks...yeah, for some reason the quality looks better in SketchUp than it does in GE. Yall have probably noticed that part of the convention center is sticking through the Hyatt...that's because whoever drew the convention center made the entrance longer than it really is

Here's a mock skyscraper I designed for the River North area. I didn't put the facade on it because it's time consuming, but the shape of the building is something I've always wanted to see in SA. Facade is envisioned to be dark red orange with yellow tinted glass. It's 525'.
