Don't know if anybody's mentioned this before but according to ads in the paper the occupancy date is now for Fall 2009 which is on track with the pace of the development.

I was once again past this tonight. They appear to be finishing off the sixth floor and it looked like there was a tiny bit of wall up on the Gottigen side.

I don't have any pics but was by the site this week. The building is now completely topped out including the elevator shaft and the walls are now being built. Still no side of cladding though.

Cool...just a matter of time now.
I'm so glad thay someone decided to fill up that lot. It's nice to see that the Gottigen area isn't immune to the city's building boom. :-)

This thing is taking a long time to complete. THey still haven't begun work on the ground floor facade.

BTW can someone explain to me why there is a brick wall in the middle of the building ...

I haven't really been paying attention to this one, so I don't really know what you mean... if it's like a cinder block wall, it's more than likely some sort of firewall.

It might be a cinder block wall for all I know. Its a light-brown colour.

Look at all those overhead wires. You'd think the city had electric buses or streetcars

They are putting that crap fake stone facade on the front. It's taking quite a while too. I don't think this is gonna be all that great once its finished.

Agreed. I like the brown siding they started cladding the sides and back with, then they crapped it all up with the fake stone...

I took these on monday.

This is the one part of the building that I do actually like.

It's this crap on the front that ruins it.
