This double standard also expands to the victims as well. Usually if the victims are non-white, they were doing something wrong that made them a victim, but when they are white they were innocent bystanders from good families and would have had a great life ahead of them.
With all due respect, you're trying too hard here. The Left owns the media. Progressives set the narrative. You've already won the culture war. Be happy. Move on.

I agree with most of your statement but Péladeau, Godfrey, Thompsons, ... are considered Left?

Toronto finishes July with 2 homicides, by far the lowest this year. Somewhat surprising considering that the homicide rate tends to go up in the summer.

Way behind last year at this date. 34 this year compared to 59 last year.

Last year we had the Van attack, but even without that it would have been 44 right now last year. So it is a good year so far, well good might not be the right word but better.

And hey even Toronto's most comparable size American city is having a better year as of July 29th. In Chicago, 293 people have been killed this year. That is 33 fewer than 2018!

After going 34 days without a homicide, Winnipeg records it's 26th on Friday. So far this summer (since June 19th) Winnipeg has only recorded 2 homicides.

Toronto is at 40 with 23 of those by gun. Homicides are down in the city, but shootings are still going up and on the rise.

Shootings as of August 19:

Occurrences - 274
Victims - 412

Same trend here, homicides are down, but shootings are way up.

Ottawa is at 9 and Gatineau has one murder so far. With two murders in Ottawa this summer, I would say things have been relatively calm lately.

These sorts of things usually peak in the summer, so it is good to hear this summer has been quiet. Hopefully it bodes well for the rest of the year.

Still lots of shootings in Ottawa lately though, but the bright side if there is one is that few (if any?) of them have been fatal.

4 homicides were declared a couple months ago after charges were laid against a dealer following fentanyl deaths.

I'm not sure if other cities ever count drug overdoses as homicide.

One always wonders whether all the gun play is simply about intimidation, or whether the gang members are just really bad shots?
