Utah just built a new field & track, currently only has women's track because of Title IX. We don't have a men's gymnastics team. The women's team was created specifically because of Title IX. Most PAC (and other univ.) have dropped their men's gymnastics teams (or never had them in the first place) also because of Title IX. UCLA and BYU dropped their men's gymnastics teams a few years ago, among others. I thought it was a real shame that UCLA dropped men's gymnastics because they had such a storied program.

UPDATE: Stanford is the only PAC school that currently has men's gymnastics and only 3 PAC schools have men's volleyball: Stanford, UCLA, USC.

Wow - that Utah schedule is about as soft as you could have hoped for considering the move to the PAC12. No Oregon or Stanford and a long week to prepare for USC and a bye before Washington. CU continues it's tradition of playing one of the toughest schedules anywhere.

I wonder who we'll get for that open slot in early September? I assume we'll schedule that 13th game. I hope we will. And not some FCS school either, drr.

All right gents, let's settle this like men. Colorado has an open slot on the schedule for Sept. 10, 2011. I checked about a dozen FBS schools, and the only one I can find that conveniently has that date open and hasn't already filled out their schedule is Boise State. So there it is, let's invite them to Boulder. (doesn't look like the MWC schedule is filled in yet, so I don't know for certain that they actually have the extra game available.)

Same. Utah didn't look like #5 today. TCU had some awesome plays though.

I'm going to love it at the end of the season when Utah could finish as high as 11-1 vs BYU could be lucky if they can have a winning season at 6-6. BYU has no room to talk this year.

Yup, you will love that. But, for one solitary day in this long and crappy college football season, I am smiling.

While I do think they are overrated (based on that game) I don't think Utah sucks. They wouldn't have been winning games if they did.
